Thin white head of medium sized bubbles. Good carbonation. Dusty apple cider aroma with some dry wheat and vanilla. Some spices as the brew warms. Amber in color. Tart apples, more vanilla and spices in the flavor. Some gritty and grainy notes. Finishes a little bit dry and tart. I like these apple ales. 1FastSTi (3358) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 20, 2008
Thanks Dave. The beer pours to a bright orange amber body that’s 100% filtered with a white head. The aroma is cheap crappy macro lager with a dash of apple cider. The flavor is actually decent with a dry apple cider but no residual sugars as it finishes really clean and drinks like water. Tart apple cider meets toasty pale malts. Average tart cidery palate. Simplistic but would be refreshing on a really hot day. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 14, 2008
Apple cider with thin white head. Aroma of apples, cinnamon and sweet malts. Taste of apples. Tart and creamy with a dry astringent finish. Reminds me of biting into an apple (shocker). Smooth but watery. hopdog (13267) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2008
12oz bottle acquired in trade with CaptainCougar (thanks!). Poured a lightly hazy and orange color wtih an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of apples, grainy, and a little musty. Tastes of pretty much the same. The apples where there, but not really in a good way. Thin body on the highly carbonated side. DavidP (1747) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 6, 2008
Bottle. At first it smells like the canned Budweiser my grandpa drank. After a bit it smells more like what it is, a cream ale with cider thrown in. I’ll call this an apple shandy made with nicely tart apple juice. However the juice tastes like the stuff from concentrate not fresh cider.

Pours a nice copper color with a small light head. Faint grainy apple aroma. Flavor matches the aroma with a little apple aftertaste.Nothing offensive...but nothing that stands out. Gurst (338) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAR 17, 2008
Smells like alcohol, apples, and ozone, in that order. Tastes like apples, ozone, and alcohol, in that order. Also some light malts giving it toast and porridge notes and balance out the apple sweetness. Body is maybe too thin, and carbonation too much. jbuzz (841) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 8, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 16, 2008 Not big on fruit beers but this was awsome. soft smooth apple taste not very sweet. Those you like Strongbow should try this.
RE-Rate Apple stays on the palate and lingers with the slight tart from the apple. joebrew (608) - Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2008
Pours a nice deep golden color. Smells like a hiar salon. You know when you walk by a Regis in the mall? Yeah it’s like that. Hmmmmm, well it tastes kinda llike a flat cider mixed with some cheap lager. Not a terrible beer, but they definately make better. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JAN 20, 2008
Pours a transparent copper orange with a thin, clingy-lacing bone-white head. Aroma of semi-sweet pale malts and some lightly tart earthy fruity apple notes. Body starts semi-sweet with some caramel notes before a crisp, tart green apple presence dries out the finish and leaves some lingering pear flavors. Pretty well-balanced and an interesting take on a cream ale.
