COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The conception and naming of this beer happened in one fell swoop. Unsure whether to offer a light session beer or a fun ball-buster as our warm weather seasonal, we decided on a beer that would be “a big, fatty boombalatty” version of a Belgian white. And away we went, taking a recipe for a white beer and ramping up the grain bill by 50%; we dropped the amount of wheat by 75% to keep the beer rough around the edges. We bucked tradition by steering the bitterness in the direction of a pale ale, and coupling hops with coriander in the fermenter. The resulting beer gives you all the bubblegum goodness of a big Belgian, with enough crispness to cut through the sweet profile, thus making you want to sip it again and again. Dangerous, indeed!

Bottle purchased and poured into tulip glass. Very little head on a deep orange hued ale. Actually a very attractive beer. Aroma has a lot sugar and fruit to it. Plenty of banana and even a little tropical fruit. Really easy to drink. The sweetness carries throughout tip to finish. An enjoyable beer to drink with a soft, Belgian finish. The type of ale you can drink an absurd amount of at St. Paul summer beer festivals.

Aroma is Belgian yeast, bubblegum and malts. The flavor is lemons, fruit, mild sweetness, malts and a mix of mild alcohol and tangy in the finish.

Decent belguim style beer. Nice orange peel and coriander palate. Some yeast and bread flavors also noticable

Maltser85 (358) - Fargo, North Dakota, USA - OCT 7, 2013
The beer pours a nice golden with a hint of orange. Hazy. White, rocky, two finger head. The aroma is huge phenolic notes from the yeast. A bit bubblegummy. The taste is a little astringent. Almost a little sour from the wheat. Bready malt notes, phenolic notes from the yeast, more bubblegum. Something that wants to be peppery notes but just isn’t. Tastes like there is a hop presence. Maybe a hint of hop citrus or grassiness. A bit of coriander on the finish maybe. The beer is medium light and the alcohol is slightly present. Not terrible, not amazing, something nice though.
