Mostly translucent and orange with caramel accents for color, and an everlasting, creaming, whipped foam head. Aroma starts things off right, with sweet banana meringue, caramel saturated honey grahams, massive amounts of fresh coriander, hints of grains of paradise and a rustic, sweet lime treated accent at the end. Flavor produces a similarly amplified picture. Coriander is freshly harvested and cracked, then dispersing with a fairly husky complex throughout the palate. Crispy wheat chex and cackled white pepper treat with pils malt and a hint of buttery sourdough baguettes. A supporting role of banana-apple marmalade sneaks in with prominent hopping before fading into the larger coriander motif. Medium to fuller bodied and well balanced with fluffy carbonation and a heightened, tripel-esque bitterness. The finish is one hundred percent coriander smashed with a colander onto honey graham crackers. Quite an enjoyable summer quaff. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 11, 2008
Bottle. Deep brass colored body that is clear as possible with that color, topped by a quickly fading light khaki head. The aroma is obvious Belgian yeast inspired with clove, cinnamon and funky banana esters. The taste is lightly spiced with clove and tomatoes. A hint of metal sneaks in the falvor. There is a nice finish that sticks with you, like hay and ginger ale. The body is very light for the abv, this is scary drinkable. madcow75 (426) - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 8, 2008
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow/gold with a medium white head, champagne like bubbles. The head diminishes pretty quickly. Aromas of citrus, banana, clove, yeast, pepper. Taste is very good, more citrus, oranges, more banana and clove. Good carbonation, finishes dry. I think I found a new, regular summer brew. Good stuff, I wasn’t expecting much, but pleasantly surprised. noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 7, 2008
Bottle, rocks tumbler. Aromas of bubblegum, pine and citrus. Pours a cloudy amber, with minimal white head, sparkling. First sip starts off with honey and pine, then, wow, there’s a lot of gumball in here. Caramel, fruit cocktail finish, banana and citrus for sure, maybe some strawberry and watermelon if I sift and savor through the experience. As it warms, wheat and cloves become more pronounced in the mid-palate. Fruit-juicy mouthfeel, with spicy pepperiness. theisti (4138) - Kansas, USA - OCT 2, 2008
12 oz bottle purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pour is a hazed golden orange with visible carbonation. The head is a fluffy 2 inch egg white that falls fairly quickly. Aroma of tangerine citrus, and resin pine hops. There is also a sweet floral character present, along with some fresh cut hay and wheat. Interesting nose, cross between a fresh hopped IPA and a Saison. I like it. Taste is the citrus fruit, and the wheat. The fruit is a bit more of the peel than the sweet fruit. Leads to a nice husky wheat with a bitter sweetness. Also present is some coriander notes, a touch of spiciness sprinkled on top of the other flavors. There is a bit of a sharpness to the aftertaste, it seems like alcohol, but is not really the typical heat of alcohol. Palate is medium and mouth coating. This is a very unique and well crafted brew. Thanks to Zinister for bringing these folks to my attention.

Bottle acquired via trade with beastiefan2k...Eugene is a GOD!!! This is truly what trading is all about. I had never heard of this beer or brewery, but feel good about having tried it. This truly is a site about friends letting friends experience things they would never have a chance to ordinarily. Brass-colored brew with a towering ivory head. Carbonation flickers like flames inside the liquid and disperses an amazing spicy aroma. Coriander, clove, banana, yeast, and citrus are evident both in the nose and on the palate. A touch of honey sweetness adds yet another level of complexity. I really enjoyed this beer Eugene...thank you!!! incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - OCT 28, 2008
Light orange color. Spicy pepper and marmalade in there, with a good mix of spice and sweet. Some bready and bannana aspects as well. I agree that is is VERY similar in all respects to CynicAle. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JAN 18, 2009
Bottle from tennisjoel. Thanks! Pours a decent cheddar orange with an aroma of orange and spearmint biscuit, with a hint of pommegranite in the background. Flavor is very zesty, full of lemon peel, orange peel, and a touch of coriander in the finish. Nice mouthfeel. A great beer. Thanks, Joel! Send more... UPDATED: JUN 27, 2009 TAP: at Stub & Herb’s, 3.7.09, nice golden pour, floral nose with coriander, clove, and citrus. Taste is similar, with a malty mouthfeel, really good. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - SEP 26, 2009
Gold colour with a medium white head.
Aroma is orange zest, lemongrass and corriander wheat tones combine with a candy like Belgian sweetness.
Flavour is nice medium sweet maltiness cut through with a tart balgian wit profile.
Alc is well blended showing just a hint before a dry finish.
