(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 24 Nov 2011) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with lemon, biscuity malt and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, biscuity malt and a fresh, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and quite nice.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium fluffy white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, slight bitterness. I rather like this brewery, reasonable effort.

Boutip (6271) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 14, 2011
Bottle: Poured a medium golden color ale with a nice thick white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of light hoppy notes with floral malty notes. Taste is a delicate mix between some light hoppy notes with some floral malt and limited sweetness. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very well brewed with great level of complexity for such an easily drinkable beer.

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured clear golden with a white head, nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity hops, citrus and grapefruit. Flavor similar, bitter finish. Bit thin, but very drinkable. Nice session beer, could have this every day.

Light straw colored pour. Medium-sized white head that falls quickly and leaves behind a small amount of lacing. A lightly hopped butterscotch smell. Malty butterscotch taste. Smooth, with a nutty aftertaste. Not bad.

Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 08/2012)
Slightly hazy golden color, decent steady white head. Snappy, pineappe-piney hoppyness. Pale malty front the lingering pine needle hoppyness in the finish and aftertaste. Some sweetish fruity notes. A bit weak body, quite typical Golden Ale. Probably from cask ok session ale.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 21, 2011
500 ml bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a nice, tight white meringue. Aroma: Very floral and perfumed, sort of savoury in an odd way, biscuit, lemony citrus, a bit peppery, a bit of Sauv. Blanc?, interesting. Palate: Medium body, smooth, restrained effervescence Flav.: Biscuit, a light savoury note, less floral and more pine/resin in terms of hops, still a bit lemony, minerals, green notes, quite nice; dry with good bitterness and a mineral, biscuit, resinous finish.

A nice departure from the usual.
