500ml bottle. Pours straw gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, honey, grainy malt, bread, pine and light grapefruit peel. Nicely carbonated. Decent mouthfeel for a light beer. Taste is bready, grainy malt, pine, something floral, bit of spice and lemon grapefruit. Finish is pleasantly bitter and quite juicy. This is fantastic. Could drink bottle after bottle of this ! September 17, 2015 - at Holborn Whippet; cask. Attractive clear and refractive pale gold, nice and bubbly, with a solid mottled white/off-white head. Terrific simple grassy/honey/heather golden ale aroma - not much alcohol, plenty of mid-level bitterness. Taste follows, perhaps sweeter than the aroma - very VERY grainy. Thick, chewy mouthfeel, solid cask carbonation with a medium-length bitter finish - nice dry tingly aftertaste - some Goldings in there?
