Craft Beer Co. opening night. First pint. Bravely bought for me by my wingman Roger when the bar was heaving, and I was still on my way. It was a lovely pint. Sweet, lovely malt. Good, crisp hops. Good condition. BeerCast_Rich (1906) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 13, 2011
[cask at FyneFest’11] New beer created for the 2011 Fyne Ales festival. Pours pale gold with a decent white head. Good hoppy bitterness on the nose, similar to Jarl but with maybe a touch less grapefruit. Another session beer from Fyne with an unexpected hop bitterness - reminds me of a modified Avalanche maybe. Bitter, grassy hop on the palate, which finishes dry and quite tangy. On balance, I think I prefer Jarl but this is another excellent beer from a brewery really on their game at the moment Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 24, 2011
On Cask at Cloisters. Pours a very pale golden colour with a fine white lacing. Aroma of fruity floral hops and barley. Citrus flavour, lemon, passionfruit and barley. Nice bitter flavour and linger. JohnRMurdoch (4865) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 1, 2011
Cask @ The 3 Judges. Citrus fruit, cereal & biscuit aroma. Pale golden colour, reasonable head. Citrus fruit resin & biscuit flavour. A bit watery. Not bad but Fyne Ales do better golden ales. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2011
Cask conditioned handpump Old Fountain London. A straw coloured beer with a white head. A lemony hoppy beer with slight tartness in the nose. Citrus with a certain sweetness in the mouth. Nothing nasty except a little jif lemon note. Just didn’t seem sure of itself.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Hoppy aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, decent session ale. AshtonMcCobb (6601) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 18, 2011
Draught at Cairnbann Hotel. Pours a lemon colour, slightly hazy with a decent head. The nose has pale malt and honey. The taste is sultana and pale malt. The palate is fresh to medium in texture and structure, it’s quite clean on the end but there is just a bit of a malty overhang. Overall, it’s a decent blonde but perhaps a little behind Fyne’s recent high standard. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - JUL 21, 2011
Cask at Bow. Pale yellow, medium head. Lemon, grass, hint of spice nose. Fruity, clean lemon/orange but with something very herbal that’s a bit strange. Maybe just unbalanced. Not bad, either way.
