Draught @ 5th Borefts Beer Festival 2013, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.
[ As Fyne Ales Fladda Rock ’n’ Roll Belgian ].
Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, yeast, fruity, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From cask @ Borefts 2013. A deep blurry golden one with a surprisingly lively white sidesticking head. Smells of Belgian saison yeast and a nice citrus touch. Wet leafs, apricots, some hay and a little bit of ginger makes up the aroma. Not bad. Soft oily in the mouth with a soft prickling carbonation level. Bitter citrus zest, light grapefruit, something sweet almost honey like and a little bit of dry hay in the finish and aftertaste. 28.09.2013 jmgreenuk (9709) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - DEC 29, 2013
Cask at the Southampton Arms. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy long lasting head. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a hoppy aromatic flowery palate and a short bitter finish. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Hazy golden with a small white head. Fruity aroma with banana, peach and spices. Fruity sweet flavour with banana, and some phenolic yeasty notes. Quite bitter, hoppy finish. Doesn’t have the clean beauty of the regular Fladda golden ale. ladnewton (2001) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2013
Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 19th December 2013. Cloudy yellow with diminishing, white lacing foam. Yeasty tangy citric aromas. Grapefruit and orange tang in-mouth with burst of grassiness followed by tangy citric finish with spicy notes on a zingy mouthfeel. Plenty of body. Nice chunky Belgian ale. imdownthepub (14972) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2013
Cask conditioned at The Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell, London. Hazy gold with slight head. There is a strawberry bubblegum flavour at the start of this leading to a gooseberry and seaweed note, caramel then perfume. Very odd. Martinus (4681) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - NOV 7, 2013
Golden colour, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, light banana. Bitter flavour, banana, sweeter than the regular Fladda Rock. Quite thin body, bitter hoppy finish. More banana, for the rest quite similar to the regular Fladda Rock. Interesting to see the differences between an English yeast and an Belgian yeast.
