Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 27/11/2012. Golden with a slight white head. Aroma of grapefruit and mango with some orange blossom hops and a touch of pine. Flavour had more tropical fruit, slightly sweet malts and a lingering dry finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle. A superior example of a golden ale. Bright fruit and floral hops backed up with a sweet malt base. Good bitter finish. markas101 (2499) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 16, 2012
50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Beer Ritz Leeds. Pale hazy yellow, minimal head. Nectarine and cardamom aroma with lots of floral hops. Quite carbonated, hits the mouth with a ginger whack. Long dry finish, the citrus ginger keeps building and eventually transitions to a resinous mouth coating syrup. Very interesting. thewolf (12801) - Kolding, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2012

Hazy pale yellow with a green hue. Nice small, creamy, white head. Aroma has pine, resin, fresh cut grass and lemon zest. Medium carbonation, full-on creamy and dry. Flavour is hoppy, some pilsner malts sweetness, resin, pine, grass, lemon, apple peel. Very bitter finish. Extremely easy to drink.

Buttery diacetyl aroma in balance with citrus that comes from hops and fermentation. Almost clear yellow under an eternal, lacy, white top. Nice bitterness in the flavour, right up front ahead of smooth, creamy malt. Light to medium body, low to moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish. I really like Fyne. Their a company that can make beers be more than a sum of their parts. This is hoppy loveliness, could drink it all day. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Old Fountain London 23/07/12. A light blonde coloured beeer with a big white head. Good citrussy sharp hops. Lemon, grapefruit and oranges. Well balanced pale malts join in. A pretty good body. Really flavoursome. Up there with the best UK goldens. bennet65 (88) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 2, 2012
This is for me like a toned down jarl despite its higherabv. the characteritics are there, i suspect is a change in the malt base. still a lovely beer but overshadowed by jarl Hermod (8348) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2012
50cl bottle. BBE 06/2012. Hazy, pale yellow, creamy, lacing, lasting white head. Aroma has mostly citrus, but also grass and floral notes. Flavor is fruity hops, malt, citrus, bitter finish. Decently hopped. Good golden ale, enjoyable still even as it was an old bottle. Session beer.
