Seffle (461) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUN 24, 2016
Bottle from Morrisons, Fort William 160624. Clear golden amber with creamy white head. Fruity hoppy nose with citrus and resins. Very nice palate with bread, malt, and very nice bitter resins and unusual citric fruitiness for an UK-beer. Especially re. it's low abv. Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, slight biscuity malts plus grassy, floral and herbal hops. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, some orange, slight biscuity malts plus grassy, floral and herbal hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, slightly biscuity, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Started off with sweet citrus and malty flavours but then developed into a well rounded, well hopped bitter finish. Nice.
