Cask at The Holy Inadequate. 5.1% ABV. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, lime, some grapefruit, slight mango, a little straw and subtle meringue. Taste of lemon, lime, grapefruit, some mango, slight pine, a little straw and subtle grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, citrus and grassy hop bitterness in the finish. More of a IPA than a golden ale in my opinion, citrusy with a grassy hoppiness coming through late. Solid. jackl (8555) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Cask @ CPK. Light golden color with a medium creamy white head. The nose is resinous pine, some citrus fruits and light sugar cookie. The taste is light lemon sorbet, pine needle, dried lemon peel and angel food cake. Soft palate, smooth. Nice. madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2012

Craft. Clear pale gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Cut from the same cloth as the Superior IPA - almost identical in fact. Struggled to tell the difference.
Cask by handpump at Kay’s Bar, Edinburgh (28 Jun 12) - clear golden ale, thin white head, fruity citrus hop aroma, citrus flavour and aftertaste, too hoppy for me Nilz (524) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 29, 2012
A seasonal ale part of the IPA Project. Brewed with a selection of three hops - Simcoe, Citra and Summit and is bittered with bullion. On cask - a clear yellow ale with a slim light fine foamed head. Aroma of light fruitiness and hops. Tastes of fresh light bitterness.

[cask, FyneFest 2012] Clear golden beer, decent white head. Aroma of sharp citrus fruit and grassy hop. Reminds me of a beefed-up Rune. More grapefruit and lime zest on the flavour – mellowed by some sweeter tropical fruit. Lots of fruity flavours, no doubt – and very nice – but if placed with the Lismore Red, I’d prefer the darker of the two AshtonMcCobb (7029) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 26, 2012
On tap @ Thomson’s Bar. Pours golden with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has grapefruit and grapefruit pith. The taste is just totally grapefruit central. The palate is light to medium in body with a nice tangy texture in the middle section and a clean zesty finish. Overall, a lovely beer that is very sessionable despite the alcohol level which is well hidden. Leighton (22812) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2012
Cask at CBC, London. Pours clear, matte gold with a foamy, white head. Nose is restrained, ripe citrus and soft toasted hay. Medium sweet flavor with a prevailing sweet, lightly tangy citrus character. There’s some orange, some pineapple, a bit of dry and dirty straw. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, faintly sticky and resinous to finish with bits of orange citrus, some pine needles, pineapple, mango. There’s definitely a dynamic fruit character in here. Pretty nice overall. cgarvieuk (26365) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 22, 2012
