Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Lots of dank citrus in the nose, some sticky grass. Medium sweet flavor with lots of ripe orange, melon, some wet pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky, resinous finish with plenty if pine and grass, mild bitter earth, lots more ripe orange, some minerals. Decent beer.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a thick, white head. No carbonation. Gorgeous lacing.
Taste: Powerful earthy, lemony and slightly peppery hop flavour. Subtle pear drop flavours. Fyne Ales managed to source a rare German hop (Polaris) for this beer. Lovely lingering bitterness.
Palate: Medium body with a very oily texture. Flat carbonation.
Overall: As with all Fyne Ales’ beers, this is well balanced and very tasty, though I’ve had hoppier, punchier IPAs. Although the hops are from Germany, there’s a very British taste about this.
