Tapped out a clear light Amber 8şSRM.
Nose has the usual acetic harshness, but is leavened by an interesting spicy coolness of spearmint or wintergreen.
Mouthfeel is watery. There is sour, green, vegetal and maybe a little salt. Not umami, salt. Overall the palate gives the same taste experience as enjoying a good dill pickle.
Finish is light and faintly aromatic, maybe dill? Reinforces the impression of a dill pickle. daje (4341) - NORWAY - FEB 16, 2016
As we all know, a cucumber doesn’t taste much else than water. So what happens when you add cucumbers to a fermented ale? My guess would be that the beer is only watered out. That’s where I was wrong. Hazy golden body with a small white head, saison-spicy aroma, it all starts as a regular saison. Breaking in to the taste however is a stronger taste of what I associate with cucumbers, helped a little by the mild mint taste. My local vegetable store obviously carries the wrong type of cucumbers as they have less ’cucumber-taste’ than this beer. The beer itself feels a bit thin, and the zesty saison finish is barely noticable. Does cucmbers in beer work? After this beer, I’d say no. Do I like the idea? Actually I do. caesar (7103) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2015
Bottle, large sample. Hazy yellow color, short head. Aroma of cucumber, mint, slight flowery, bit peppery yeast. Like and cream and chives with cucumber. Bit sour in taste, cucumber, slight grainy sweetness. Interesting, ewsy drinkable and quite tasty considering only 2.9%. Good. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2015
[7752-20150926] Tap. Mild fruity grains aroma. Hazy, pale orange brown body with a quick foamy off-white head. Spiced cucumber fruity grains flavour. Medium body. Interesting but not really a fan. (6/3/5/3/10) 2.7-

Pours clear golden with a thin white rim. The aroma is like a spicy white wine. Very carbonated but the flavour is nice, bit of spiciness, some bitterness and a cucumber flavoured finish. It’s a bit thin but given it’s a low ABV you can’t expect anything else. A nice tipple.

Bottle shared by Maakun. Slight hazy dark gold. Little smell, pebbles, bit pepper. Taste nice cucumber, bit yeast, licorice, bit minty hoppy stale finish. Maakun (5408) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - DEC 3, 2015
Bottle shared at home. Slight hazy golden with short lasting white head. Mint, lime, quite mineral, light grains, herbs, lemon. Very light in the taste, just a touch of sourness and herbal bitterness. Thin bodied with fizzy carbonation. None dry and a bit watery feel. Nice for the ABV. (Fyne Ales / Wild Beer Cool as a Cucumber) Tap at Oersoep Craft Beer Festival. Light yellow hazy body, with a small white head, good retention.
Aroma of light barnyard, saison yeastm citrus.
Taste of cucumber, grass, mint.
Thin body, low carbonation.
Weird but not difficult to drink. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 15, 2015
2015-09-26. Aroma of lightly grassy green cucumber. Flavour is pleasant, sweetish cucumber up front with green cucumber peel in the finish and aftertaste. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay, a bit unusual. At Tapped, Leeds. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 20, 2015
Draft. Light salty/minty cucumber and malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet, lightly salty cucumber and light malt flavor. Light body. Very pleasant.
