Small brown slightly bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, unripe banana, coffee, caramel, chocolate, grass. Taste is slightly sweet, dark malts, dark sugar, puffed rice, caramel, hay, roasted coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Tiny shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich, dark malts, salty caramel, licorice, dark sugar, toffee, grass. Taste is slightly harsh, dark malts, burnt coffee, burnt caramel, puffed rice, harsh grass, licorice. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Boring.

Tap @ Borefts 2013. Black color. Roast, hints of soy sauce and licorice in the aroma. Roasty, malty sweetish flavor with soy sauce Slightly alcoholic. Hint of licorice. Dryish finish.

Nose is slight smoke, soy sauce, a touch of coco. Quite short lived. Taste: Strong licorice, nuts and resin in the mid range, dry slightly smoked and roasted finish. Mouthfeel a little too carbonated for me.

Bottle. White coffee, toffee, roast, some licorice. Medium body, light roasted tartness and a pleasant finish carrying notes of coffee, chocolate and licorice. Very tasty.

Cask handpull at the Seven Stars Highland beer festival, Bristol. Deep red-brown in colour with a small creamy tan head. Roasted aroma of milk chocolate, with caramel. Medium sweet. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation.

Draught @ BBF 2013. Pours brown with not much head. Aroma is coffee, floral and chocolate. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet. Sessionable. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Bottle BB Nov 2014, into tulip. Black, decent foamy, soapy tan head. Smell - coffee, fairy liquid, lime. Body - medium to light, low carbonation. Taste - coins, hoppy, caramel coffee. Decent hoppy porter, but not as much flavour as I was hoping for.
