July 9th, 2015. Cask @ The Alehouse, Chelmsford. Light amber pour with a small head. Nose of honeyed grain and spring fruits. Some gentle toasty pine. Flavor’s fairly sweet, not aided by a somewhat subdued palate with soft carbonation. Sugar cookie. More pine. Light floral bitterness. OK.

Gravity, Coventry BF, 16/04/16. First ordinary beer. Loose capped misted gold. Herbal dank woodland, buttered coriander hop, hints of cherry. Actually it’s OK, just outshone. Aroma of damp woods and urinals. Good background biscuit

Citrus fruits, grapefruit, grain and bread malts. Slightly hazy amber, medium, frothy, white head. More grain malts, cereal and bread, again some light citrus fruits coming up, remains bitter throughout, light bodied. Just about OK Bitter, quite light. Cask at The Tabard, Chiswick.

Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Festival ’16. Gold with white head. There was a fusty, grainy character to this from the start, dusty, malty and fairly bitter. There is a drying element with an earthy note. It’s okay but not exciting.

Really delicious aroma. Quite weak appearance comparatively. Does have a bitter taste with a strong aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask, Chelmsford Alehouse, 9th July 2015.

Golden colour with white lacing. Clean yeast. Light fruity yeast esters. Lemons and citrus on aroma. Taste is grapefruit, lemons and citrus. Nice balance. Great drinkability. Extremely well made and in stunning form.
