Licht doorzichtig zwart met koper bruin, kleine beige witte kop... aroma heeft lichtgebranee mouten, wat meer brodige mouten, wat caramel... smaak is gebalanceerd zoetbitter, heeft wat sterker gebrande mouten, een zwartig zuurtje achterin... beetje romig, maar relatief licht van body... lekker, drinkbaar

Very dark brown, dense white head, light lacing
Aroma of soft roasted malt, some dark sweet fruits
Taste of roasted malts, touch of yeast, soft burnt notes, some dark fruit malts, sticky dark fruits, bit smoky, quite complex, but not a big fan of the flavour
Palate - Medium body, quite sticky, ligth sweet, more bitter. FInish a bit dry.
Overall - Its well made, but I found it a bit hard going tbh

Pours a dark brown almost black colour with a plum purple tinge, a loose frothy beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, some hops and smokiness, a bit subdued. A bitter roasted malt, ashy taste, and long bitter finish.

Cask at The Railway, Putney as Gadds Dogbolter. Black with a red hue, bubbly tan head leaves thick lacing. Aroma is airy, some smoke. Body is rounded, quite light, soft carbonation. Taste is smokey and roasted with charcoal biscuits and dark chocolate. A touch of fruity ester, some resin and apple. Quite dry and toasty. Finishes pretty aggressive bitter and dry. Decent but not easy to drink.
