Cask-conditioned at the Yard, Bristol 3/4/2015. Golden in colour with a thin, white, head. Easy drinking pale ale, with some apricot and sweetish malts, before a moderately bitter finish. Fine. mjs (7370) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 25, 2014
(Cask at Black Door, 20140625) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small, white and it lasted long. Aroma had toffee, grass and earth. Palate was soft and medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, toffee, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet,.acrid and bitter. A not so ordinary cask ale and one that wasn’t in my liking. imdownthepub (14555) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2014
Cask conditioned at The Chequers, Oxford. Gold with white head. Light beer on the palate, difficult to pick out wheat ale characteristics in isolation but there is a light lemony note, some sweetness and a touch of herbs. Pleasant summer beer. Cycled into Oxford, Saturday 31st May 2014 had this at The Chequers. Pours light gold, excellent clarity, there is a slim white head atop, it is in very good condition. A nice little fuzzy bitterness, its refreshing and doesn’t taste like a standard wheat although you can just about get that it is, dry finish. Nice. A6 A5 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4
