Re rated because as Blackhaddock says gets better as you go down the pint. Don?t know why. Gone from 2.9 to 3.3. Average. Nothing special. Seems quite strong but definitely nothing special. Enjoying it though

SarkyNorthener (4847) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2014
[email protected] avion, Aldridge. Clear golden amber beer with residual head and some lacing. Aroma of faint malts. Taste is biscuit, light dry hops, a touch of sweetness and some lemon in the finish. Ok beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 19/2/2014. Deep gold with a tight, white head. Crisp aroma of grapefruit, tangerines and slightly creamy malts. Easy drinking for the ABVm with lots more fruit, solid mlats and a dryish finish. Very good.

Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, Karamell, Citrus. Geschmack malzig bitter, Karamell, leicht schokoladig.

evergreen0199 (3494) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2014
Cask at The Kings Head, Salisbury, Wilts. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes vaguely hoppy, lemon. Not particularly good.

dogbomb (1254) - ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2014
Cask at White Cross Beer festival 2014. Hazy yellow ale with a bubbly white head. Nose is light zesty lemon and a touch of vinegar. Taste is surprisingly malty, with some damp "farty" tastes. Not as unpleasant as it sounds, and it drinks well with a decent robust malty biscuit finish.

BlackHaddock (7696) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2014
Hand-pulled pint in The Shrewsbury Hotel, Shrewsbury, a Wetherspoons place: on 27th Jan 2014. Light golden body with white foam for a head. I got hops, spruce and herbal notes in both the aroma and taste, the finish being dry and bittering: the beer grew on me as I supped it. I thought it boring and very average until half way down the pint, it then became more interesting and tastier somehow. Hides the alcohol nicely and not a bad brew at all.

RichTheVillan (8248) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2014
Cask at JDW Bishop Vesey; light amber pour with frothy white head, slight citric hop aroma, taste has citrus a a hint of honey and some pale malts.

allmyvinyl (11029) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 16, 2014
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy pale yellow pour, small white head. Light aromas of cereal and lemon, little else. Taste similarly thin, with soapy holdings all over the place. Not a right lot else going on.

Pyrmir (6210) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 24, 2013
Cask. Pale clear yellow with minimal white head. Aroma and taste is of grain, pale sweet malt, honey and light flowers. Nice rounding bitterness.
