Tap. Shared with Stefan @Micro Bar, Reykjavik. Hazy golden body with creamy layer on top. Beautiful lacing. Aroma: horse blanket, sour milk (kefir) and cloudberries. Tastes of grain, moss and hint of cloudberries and kefir in the finish. This reminds me of childhood in North-Norway, almost feeling a bit melancholic and definitely think this is an IPA with an Icelandic twist. Iceland and North-Norway have much in common!:-) 14.Jul.2012

Clear light copper body with a small frothy beige head. The nose is crystal malt iced tea sweetness with a light tropical hoppiness. The flavor isn’t much better, too sweet with the crystal malt, not near enough hops to balance. Medium to full bodied, sticky and clingy, with soft fizzy carbonation. Not a winner this one.

A lot of bitter grapefruit rind. Some malt. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Decent stuff. Very bitter like my girlfriend not seeing a puffin in Iceland. Tap at Micro bar.

Keg at Micro Bar - Reykjavik. Pours pours clear gold with a lasting, creamy white head. Fracker pale malts in the nose, lemon peel and pine needles. Light sweet flavour with some husky bitterness, fired pale grains, lemon rind, minerals, crackers. Light bodied with active carbonation. Dry finish with grassy bitterness, more citrus rind. So so overall.

A hazed golden ipa with a thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, nice fruity biscuit malt with loads of resinous herbaceous floral hops, clover field, light Brett, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with interesting Brett, resinous and piney hops, light mineral notes, citrus pulp, very nice and complex. On tap at Pit caribou Montreal.

Złote, mętnawe, piana biała ładnie się trzyma. Aromat żywiczny z cytrusami w tle, w smaku kwiatowe nuty z cytrusami. Na finiszu półwytrawne z nutami słodyczy, dobre piwo

Bottle from a Vínbúdin in Reykjavik. Blond with a thin white head. Nice hoppy aroma with grapefruit and lychee. The taste has light spice it loads of lemon and grapefruit citrus before a big bitter finish with pine notes coming through. Top notch.

Draft @ Hlemmur Square. Straw-yellow slightly hazy color with fine white foam. Aroma: wild berries, fruits, honey, citrus and yeast sulfur. Taste: citrus, fruits, with pleasant hop bitterness, slightly spicy and earthy.
