This is certainly more of a lager than a ’premium ale’ but I actually rather like it. Light, hoppy and slightly fruity. I found it very drinkable and actually pretty nice. Very surprised to see it slated so badly on here.

Nice fruity hop aroma. Clear golden colour with ok head. Nice and fruity watermelon and passionfruit flavours. Light to medium body with medium carbonation.

From a bottle labelled "Kolsch" . Pours a clear amber, not much head, aroma is a bit blah, crisp with a bit of hops punch. OK

MRMedellin (326) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - APR 17, 2014
It says "kolsh" in the bottle, but so far away to be one, or at least a good one. When is poured in the glass is a little bit cloudy, with low carbonation and without a proper head, something that I found a little bit concerning, but it get worst, the aroma has metallic, sugar cane, and ginger notes. When is tasted a small bitterness with metallic flavor appears and that’s all, watery felling, the malt vanishes away, and the hops, who knows where they are.

330ml bottle. Now sold as a "Kolsch style premium ale". ABV 4.6%. Golden yellow appearance with minimal white head. Nose and taste is very sweet grainy honey malts and little else (perhaps a trace of citrus hops). Unpleasant cloying syrupy finish. Watery flat mouthfeel and light body. Certainly nothing like an authentic Kolsch.

Bottled from Dan Murphy’s, Eltham (Melbourne). On July 28, 2013.
States "Wahoo Kolsch" on the label.
Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, malty, sugary, some vegetable taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sugary aftertaste. Sweet, malty, some vegetable scent.
Not very nice at all.

KeefOz (1916) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUL 28, 2013
Poured a clear golden yellow colour with no head and virtually no carbonation (ie. it was flat). Aroma strongly of malt. Taste of sour malt but no hops and no bitterness – very bland. Light body, bordering on watery. Long sour, stale finish. Pale larger-like, and poor at that.

Hop_Hedonist (647) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 7, 2013
Says Kolsch on the label. Slightly fruity, lager-like. Stale aftertaste. Poor. Struggled to finish one.

Bif (2347) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Pours a clear light golden color with a small head that fades to very little lacing. Aroma of mild citrus and some malt sweetness and bit of grain. Taste is of citrus up front with some mild malt sweetness and grain. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Light body, crisp, smooth and refreshing. Decent beer for a hot summer day.

varanid99 (1345) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 5, 2012
Pale pour, almost non existent head. Grassy, malty aroma, with an unpleasant note to it. Heavily carbonated, some malt and fairly sweet, but mostly pretty bland and watery.

kerenmk (5169) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUL 17, 2012
Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks avrashi. Clear, pale, golden-green, white head. A little faint grass, cucumber. Very faint bitterness, light body, watery and insignificant.
