Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. A subtle sweet flowery aroma. Some spices come up when it warms up. The unclear orange beer has a medium white head. In the taste I have honey and a spice I can’t define, probably the gagel... Medium carbonated.

Slightly hazy golden with white head. Massive herbal spices, I guess this is the gagel. Nice medium sweet malts, lots of berries, some citrus and light herbal bitter finish. Interesting stuff.

Lite oljig, lätt men tydlig beska. Trevlig i vårsolen. Gott

Bottle to tulip. Lavender, spice and camomile. Hazy orange with full white head. Sweet lemongrass and wheatfield after a threshing. Moderate bitterness and spice. Semi-dry finish.

fkoolen (1183) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 18, 2014
Hazy golden colour with a slim head. Nose is a bit thin, apple and citrus fruits are distinguishable. Taste has fruity sweet- and sourness (berries, apple), malts and a pleasant bitter note in the aftertaste. Medium-high carbonated, medium body.

I do appreciate a spicey beer, even with obscure spices and herbs. But this one just didn’t work for me. It had a nasty tardy taste. Blech.

Swaroga (2213) - Warszawa, POLAND - DEC 17, 2013
33cl bottle. Clear golden/orange with big head. NOSE : Strong aromas of fruits and herbs. Strong citrus notes. Some apple like aromas. Biscuit, dough. Cheese. Wood and gooseberry. SIP : Strong carbonation with fluffy texture. Medium body. Medium sweet grain like start. Carbonation spikes attack with dry and fruity notes. The flavors are if they put a whole apple or pear tree with the fruits in it. Also strong gooseberry like flavors mostly revealed with dry/sour notes. Bitterness is not attacking the back of the tongue and the throat. It stays in mouth while in the throat I feel more dry notes. Very interesting mouth feel. Aftertaste is dry and bitter. OVERALL : very interesting brew. Easy to drink, dry and bitter with peaks of sweet grains. Seams off balance but in fact it holds a very balanced spicy character. Really nice.

On tap @ Beer Revolution. Slightly hazed golden straw pour with a white head. Aroma is apple cider, herbs, menthol, and cough syrup. A bit of candied orange peel, too. Weird. Flavor is a touch bitter and quite sweet. Lots of apple, cider, and candied orange peel. Some cough syrup, white grape, and yeast.
