COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer doesn’t hold back. We start with as much Canadian barley as we can fit in our mash mixer, then add some toasty Munich malt and toffee-flavoured crystal malt for a rich, malty balance to the hop onslaught that follows. We cram our kettle with Centennial and Cascade hop varieties for refreshing clean bitterness and hop flavour, then dry hop in the fermenter for an aroma that will spank you right in the face. Party like its 1772!

Tessic (1153) - Brantford, Ontario, - SEP 17, 2012
This IPA poured a light amber colour with a big, bold, very light brown coloured head. Nice lacing. To the nose there are scents of hops, hops and more hops. Citrus, juniper, pineapple and dough are the most prodominent. First swig had a creamy mouthfeel with a moderate hop flavour. Tastes of floral hops, malt and light caramel. Finish is very hoppy with the full floral flavour lingering.

cmacklin (1177) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 16, 2017
On tap. Pours a clear deep amber with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves plenty of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, tropical fruit, citrus, floral and pine. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, lemon rind and pine resin with a crisp, dry, bitter grass finish. Medium body with a slick, oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

deyholla (11606) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 4, 2016
On tap at the Malpeque Oyster Barn. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread and earthy citrus with a bit of grass backing. Flavor has more of a bitter citrus note with a slight earthiness and a grain backbone.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2016
500 ml bottle via family, served quite cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear deep amber with a full off-white head. Aroma: Herbal, woodsy, a touch minty, eucalyptus, a bit of bread crust as malt support, clean yeast. Palate: Medium to medium+ body with moderate to moderate+ carbonation. Flav.: Quite herbal with the same eucalyptus/minty note, bread crust, a little earthy, dry British maltiness, almost a honey-like note; dry with moderate+ bitterness and a bread crust and herbal/eucalyptus/minty finish.

A little different, not too bad.

QcBeer (187) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 24, 2016

4.2
Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 17, 2015
Clear pure amber color. White creamy 2 finger head, lasting 5 minutes and creating a foam island. Thick legs. Well balanced aromas and flavors of citrus, clove, and nutty caramel. Pleasant sharp bitter taste of grains with smoky toasty feel. Medium slick body a prickly carbonation feel, ending with a bitter smoky clove like mouth coating finish, while not too strong. Overall : Refreshing beer, well crafted with balanced tasty flavors and a good intensity IPA.

3.5
jksipa (945) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2015
Clear light copper with a large frothy off white head that fades slowly leaving a bit of lace. Big citrus, tropical fruit and pine nose with a light caramel backing. Lightly sweet malt with a medium- citrus bitterness. Slightly thin slick body with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Nose is more prominent than the flavour and could use some more body, but their best offering of those I have had so far.

3.2
Alpha10 (758) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2015
2015/12/01 - Pours a translucent copper colour with a thick, foamy, off white head that slowly reduces and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is toffee (very prominent), citrus, tropical fruits, floral notes an mild pine. Taste is citrus rind (lemon and orange), pine, roasted toffee and floral hops. Mouthfeel is medium and slightly chalky with average carbonation and a mildly bitter, drying finish. Better than expected. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
