Beach Chair Lager is the first canned craft beer ever produced in Atlantic Canada.

An ode to malt and hops, our approachable craft lager is made with only top quality Canadian Pilsner malts, spicy European noble hops, and lager yeast. After lengthy cold-conditioning, the resulting clean character allows the malt and hops to sing out! Grab a chair and sing along.

BartmanDrinks (12) - Ontario, - JAN 11, 2013
Gift pack with 2 pint glasses and 2 tall-boy cans. Looks like a pale golden lager, smells a touch earthier than an average lager, and tastes like a quiet summer’s day at Blooming Point beach.

Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - SEP 7, 2017
Where and how: big trip East Coast 2017 – can 473 ml
Aroma malty, grainy, easy going pale lager with low hop profile. Light tartness, slightly grassy secondary notes.
Appearance :
Top: medium lighter white head.
Base: clear gold
Palate : medium bodied, soft approach with mild carbonation. Shorter finish.
Taste: soft, slightly chalky, grainy. Straight mellow pale lager approach. Very faint hop touches on top. To soft and mellow to be truly refreshing, not bad per se.

2017-07-30. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. 6+ Aroma has very lightly floral grass hops, mild pale malt. Flavour is mild, crisp lightly grainy pale malt. 6+ Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Okay. Mild, decent take on accessible relatively mainstream brew. 6/3/6/3/13-14 On tap at Toronto Festival of Beer.

deyholla (11910) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 4, 2016
Sampled from the tap at Gahan House. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and hay with a touch of corn underlying. Flavor has lots of hay and biscuit with a bit of earthy corn backing.

berkshirejohn (6588) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2016
From can at the Hotel on Pownal, Charlottetown, PEI. A pale straw coloured pour with a loose white head; cereal aroma; corn syrup based taste; with a light grassy bitterness. A standard pale lager.

MartinT (10014) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 27, 2016
My Bottom Line:
Sweetish corn-like malts are met sulphury notes and dry yeastiness in this forgettable lager.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the misty pale yellow.
-This tastes a bit like a macrobrew which was left unfiltered.
-It is drinkable, yes, but also very forgettable.
-Cereal character is unrefined.

Can.

Tranquillity (2464) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 10, 2016
draft At ricks fish and chips, PEI. Very clear yellow body, almost no head. The aroma is yeasty, typical lager. The taste is fresh and has some peach. Very enjoyable for a pale lager.

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 9, 2016
Slightly hazy golden color with a powerful amount of activity. Tight lightly creamy white 2 finger head, lasting around 10 to 15 minutes, with a strong amount of legs. Aromas of sweet bread and biscuit with a malty and honey feel. Flavors of quality malts, lemony citrus, caramel, and noble spices. Nice sharp bitterness with a little sugar. Bready and grassy. Smooth slick medium body with strong carbonation. Light and short finish, ending with a palate of noble hops, smoky butterscotch, rich malts, and a salty feel. Overall very good quality craft. Tasty flavors, nice balance, good intensity. Super fresh and zesty with a great body. Accessible and good for sessions.

sudomorph (1176) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 7, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2016 473ml can. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin, off white head. Aroma has notes of grain, slight caramel, traditional earthy/spicy hops, and faint fruity lager esters. Taste is balanced well with mildly sweet caramel, grain, corn/adjunct, and traces of fruity lager yeast. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a slightly dry finish. Overall pretty standard, macro lager taste with not a lot else going on.

Sampled at steinbach liquor mart. Mostly grains in the aroma and flavour a touch hoppy. Pretty average.

northropfrye (3662) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 5, 2016
Clear light golden yellow body with lots of bubbles, fizzy white head, foamy soapy lacing. Sweet grain, bubblegum aroma. Taste is semi-sweet, again bubblegum and a touch of rhubarb, some dryness. Okay.
