An ode to malt and hops, our approachable craft lager is made with only top quality Canadian Pilsner malts, spicy European noble hops, and lager yeast. After lengthy cold-conditioning, the resulting clean character allows the malt and hops to sing out! Grab a chair and sing along.

Draft at the source. Clear golden color, huge white head with good retention and solid lacing. Nice peppery aroma. Taste is lemony straw. Tasty and easy drinking.

Bottle shared by phaleslu. Poured clear pale with medium white head that diminished quickly with little lacing. Small aroma. Light body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor that was light sweet finish. Worth having once.

Can (courtesy of Travlr, huge thanks). Light lemon and barley malt aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head and nice lacing. Lightly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. No off flavors - pleasant but standard.

Sampled from the tap at Gahan House. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and hay with a touch of corn underlying. Flavor has lots of hay and biscuit with a bit of earthy corn backing.

Can. Medium gold with an average head. Husky grainy aroma. Flavour of clean cereal malts, light kiss of grassy hops, medium sweetness. What I expected, nothing less nothing more.

330 ml bottle shared by shrubber85- thanks again, Roger! Pours a pale, lightly hazed yellow-gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Notes of pale malts, straw, grass, and cracker. So light in body, with low carbonation and a clean, dry mouthfeel. Drinks really easy, but not a whole lot to it. Aptly named.

330 ml bottle shared by phaleslu during our tour of the world (first beer from Prince Edward Island). Pours a pale yellow/gold color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, pilsner malts, grass, hay, a very mild hop character and crackers. Dry finish, not too bad for what it is.

Gahan House Beach Chair Lager. Mostly clear golden color. Thin ring of bubbly off white head. Very funky nose. Must, corn, adjunct. Lighter body, light carbonation. Light slick. Moderate sweet taste, light bit of tart, light bite. Not a great Lager. Pretty off. 2/4/2/3/7

My Bottom Line:
Sweetish corn-like malts are met sulphury notes and dry yeastiness in this forgettable lager.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the misty pale yellow.
-This tastes a bit like a macrobrew which was left unfiltered.
-It is drinkable, yes, but also very forgettable.
-Cereal character is unrefined.

Can.

pours clear light yellow with a small white cap, little retention, no lacing. pils-like malts, fresh pale cereals, hint of grass and citrus, hint of corn, pepper. average carbonation, light body, short watery grassy finish. almost crisp. ok for what it is.
