While vacationing on PEI in August 2017, I went to the Gahan House in Charlottetown where I had a Belgian-style beer on tap they called "Oyster King," which clocked in at 4% ABV and 15 IBU, despite what is noted here about it being retired. It poured a hazy gold-yellow with a spritz of off-white head and some lacing. Aroma: faint honey. Flavor: honey, orange, yeast, coriander, white pepper. Mouthfeel: light-bodied, too thin and watery. mabel (9874) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2011
[3858-20110805] Tap. Plastic straw yeast aroma. Hazy, pale yellow white body with a quick foamy white head. Plastic lemongrass yeast flavour has something of a fruity tinge. Light body. Average. (5/4/5/3/11) 2.8 phaleslu (10748) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 23, 2011

Draft in a sampler at The Gahan House. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow color with a small white head. Looks like a Belgian wit. Notes of bready malts, lemon, coriander, banana, wheat, and herbs and spices that really show up later in the beer. Light-bodied, with a dry, sweet and spicy mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Not bad but not particularly special. Waiter didn’t know if oysters were used in the brew, but my guess is it’s just meant to be paired with them. We had it with mussels instead (which are awesome here, by the way). jercraigs (10921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 12, 2011
2011-08-05. Hazy pale pastel yellow with a small white head. Flavour is sweet up front, fruity lemon like citrus is a bit odd, maybe a bit of spice or coriander. Aroma is similar with a sweet fruity lemon citrus character and a bit of floral and spice character. Average to light bodied palate. Okay. Decent example of the style but the balance of flavours is not quite to my preference. On tap at the brewpub. DuffMan (10728) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 20, 2011
On tap @ the brewery as part of a tasting tray. Cloudy pale yellow. Perfumey, coriander and citrus aroma, very fragrant. Sweetly spicy flavour, quite perfumey, light and slightly tart.

This beer was a seasonal and advertised as the Gahan White. Just like the previous rater, I cant find any reference to it. Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2010
Draught @ Gahan House, Charlottetown, PE: This was a special or seasonal advertised on the sign outside their establishment, and I can’t find any reference to it online whatsoever. Hopefully someone else can find a way to update it appropriately. Came a light yellow pour, completely opaque with a decent white head. Lots of citrusy lemon and orange aroma, cloves and the usual suspects for a wheat.. thankfully, does not smell of oysters. A very yeasty and biscuity taste alongside those orange, lemon and clove found in the aroma. Altogether decent and one of the best this place has turned out.
