A pretty solid beer. I’d drink it when it becomes warm if I were you. Strange advice? Strange things come from french attempts at beer. MartinT (9932) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 31, 2012
My Bottom Line:fonefan (49548) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2012
Earthy, rural breezes brush this Bière de Garde’s nutty, toasted malts, as strawberries angles suggest depth.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-There is barely any foam atop the misty red.
-The yeast pour adds more character.
-Hops are hard to perceive, adding very mild herbal, peppery notes in the end.
-This is undercarbonated, decreasing drinkability.
-.Malt flavors are well defined throughout.

Appearance : Deep shiny amber with medium head. Short retention, no lacing.
Aroma : Very malty. Lots of cereals. Nice caramel. Slightly toasted.
Taste : Malty with light caramel, almost no hops. Finish malty caramel. Faint bitterness. No alcohol.
Palate : Very strong and fizzy carbonation Pepsi™ style.
Overall : Nice malty finish, nice slightly toasted caramel. A bit simple but nothing wrong except for the carbonation that is way off. Nice persistency of the malt on the finish.
Doesn’t really taste like a beer Biere de Garde. More like an ordinary amber ale. Malty and sweet. Not offensive in the least. But nothing to remember. OK Rustyham (1836) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Lots of sediment, sickly amber color. Aroma is sweet and malty, flavor is a very bubbly amber malt with butter. Typical amber ale, but slightly lighter. Bottle from Mmmckay at the PreLabor Day Beer Tasting. Dedollewaitor (16174) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle @ Really Late Ulfborg Summer Tasting, 2012. Pours ruby amber with a small white head. Sweet malty. Bread, caramel, metal and mild ash. Medium bodied. A bit fruity. illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 5, 2010
Pours medium amber with an ivory head. Aroma of faint belgian phenols. Lighter side of medium bodied with fine carbonation. Flavor of caramel and brown sugar, countered by mild herbal hops. Nothing exciting, but not horrible either . bewyder (513) - FRANCE - OCT 21, 2014
