Cask conditioned and severely hopped, this small trial ale is served on gravity from a barrel on the bar at 12C. A porty, barley wine style with a distinct maltiness and bitterness.
Gravity fed at the brew pub, a clear dark copper with little head. A sweet medicinal malty aroma with hints of preserved berries. The palate is very smooth, with augmenting oak-touched malt flavours and a hoppy bitterness creeping in at the finish. Simply yum!
