Bottle and pint glass. Pours with a thick, foamy head. Lovely dark gold colour. Hoppy nose with a lot of floral scent, grass and pine tree here. The taste doesn’t quite live up to the aroma as it tends to be a bit flat, but what’s there is great - not overly bitter, but tending to the bitter side, rather than sweet. Body is quite light with a fairly thin texture. Quite a good amount of carbonation with a nice aftertaste, but which dissipates quickly. I’m a big fan of Galbraith’s products and this APA is a great addition to their line-up. Do try it.

JoshRaburn (141) - - DEC 9, 2015Ok. Bit weak. A nice drinkable beer but the limitations of the super clean yeast become apparent due to the weak hopping, making it a little dull.
canadiankiwi (149) - NEW ZEALAND - SEP 21, 2015Small head poured from bottle with a nice golden colour. Citrus and fruity aromas and light drinking
Earplay (51) - NEW ZEALAND - JUL 23, 2015Aroma of citrus, pine, some honey. Taste is sweet malt with hint of honey and biscuit, balanced by pithy grapefruit hop character, slight earthiness and lingering bitterness in finish. Good carbonation with soft mouthfeel, reasonably full-bodied. Enjoyable pale ale.
