12 oz. bottle. Pours cloudy with great aroma. Medium body. Taste, banana and clove. A good German Hefeweizen. Ratman197 (15212) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 8, 2015
Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a lkasting white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, light banana and a hint of clove. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast and light fruitiness with a smooth finish. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 26, 2013
12oz bottle scooped up at the brewery. Hazy orange-tan. Not much head to speak of after a few minutes. Bright orange, sweet hefeweizen. Middle of the road US brewpub example..doesn’t really have any of the creamy yeast tones I’m looking for in a Hefe. Still pleasantly medium bodied, drinkable, sessionable, just doesn’t have that authentic touch. A nice US Wheat, just not a great German Hefeweizen. wlajwl (7008) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 10, 2012

Fresh on tap today at the brewery. Review from written notes. Wow, this is much better than the bottled version contract brewed at Sand Creek I had last year.
Murky yellow orange with copious lace and lasting creamy foam. Visible trails of carbonation. Retention is good, and it looks like a classic hefe.
Ripe banana esters in the aroma, classic again. Keep returning to it just to smell it, which is a good sign.
Creamy feel, mellow and lightly sweet, not cloying at all. Finishes dry. Estery banana and creamy wheat character. Easy drinking any time of the year, but especially on hot summer days in the biergarten. Prost!

Draught at the brewpub. Pours opaquely cloudy gold with small white head. The aroma is yeasty banana, deep wheat and grain, slight clove, and a little bit of peanut. The flavor is rich yeast esters, mostly banana, with some very light coriander and clove notes. The finish is biscuity with some floral hops. Pretty good. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 17, 2011
Bottle and on tap at the brewery. Pours a deep hazy gold color with a soft full white head. Aroma is clove and bananas. Taste of bananas with spices. A very nice feel and a very mellow sweet palalte. A nice weisse.

Poured clear since it had set? Nose is pretty weak but spicy more so than with banana character also pick up some wheat and sweet malts in the nose. Taste is spicy up front then gives way to some clean malt flavors and finishes pretty clean overall. Maybe just a slightly tart finish. Medium light body. somewhat spritzy carbonation. Ok but the flavor and aroma was a little weak in general. maybe since it was clear this was due to excessive aging. ekoerper (599) - Iowa, USA - JUN 12, 2011
Nose is fruity, touch of banana and some wheat malt, pretty subtle for a weizen. Pours hazy straw color, average retention and carbonation. Flavor: light grains and citrus, banana and light hop character, low bitterness. Clove flavor follows into the aftertaste a bit. Light body and medium carbonation.
