Cask at Artillery Arms Moorgate. Post-exam commiseration/celebration with classmates, so short review. Amber gold, still, clear. Aroma - toned down malts. Body is medium, smooth, carbonation low. Taste is almost entirely orange squash and apple. If I were blindfolded Iíd say that it is some sort of fruit cordial. Bitterness is mild. Thereís something a bit sickly about it but itís OK. Aroma: light malts. Appearance: light dark brown, no head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: mild, flat carbonation, light bitterness continues. Overall: nothing special, slightly above average bitter. Pint at Cat and Canary, Canary Wharf. Vladivostok (483) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2013
Pale amber with a slight malty aroma. Thin mouth feel and very gently hopped, so little in the way of lingering flavours. As ordinary bitters go, not a patch on Fullerís own Chiswick Bitter.
