Malty aroma with some sour mash. Pours golden clear with decent lacing and head. Finishes a little bitter, a little sour. Average carbonation and slightly cloying texture. On tap at Monk’s Table after a long day of beer at Session yesterday. Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 23, 2013

On draught at Cochrane’s in Hong Kong. Pours a clear, light amber with a 2 inch frothy head. Bitter malty aroma. Body is full and has a nice bitter taste. Full and satisfying for such a light beer. Amazingly good sessionability while being full flavored yet light and still satisfying. One of the best English bitters I found on draught in Hong Kong.

Draught. This is a pretty nice bitter with a good sessionable ABV. Worth a go if you see it on tap. jmgreenuk (9447) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - APR 29, 2013
Cask at The Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a medium bitter, malty flavour. The palate is rather weak and watery with just a little malt and the bitterness does fade rather quickly. If seafarers had to drink this at sea I’d be glued to a telescope searching for land! gowdy (1115) - Erskine, SCOTLAND - APR 27, 2013

Cask at The Bent Elbow. Clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of blackcurrant and pepper. A creamy taste with bready malts and a highly bitter finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel (since it was on cask). teorn88 (7682) - Rimini, ITALY - FEB 26, 2013
Cask. It pours dark golden with a small white head. Nose is some toffee, citrus, grains and hops. Taste is extremely refreshing with a decise hop kick to it. Medium bitterness with. Quite good and hoppy for a classic Bitter.
