Cask at the Argyll Arms. Clear amber-honey pour with basically no head. Bready malt aroma with some caramel and toffee. Lightly sweet, malty and bready with dry, grassy bitterness. Light bodied with light carbonatio. Bitter, dry finish with plenty of bread. So so.
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2017 Very light and easy to drink and reasonably pleasant. Not the very best but by no means the worst and I’d certainly have again Davros IX (381) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2017
Cask at the Counting House. A true English session bitter and I had forgotten just how good this beer can be. A good flavour of biscuit malt, perfectly balanced by some bitter hops. It looked great in the glass and perfectly complemented the pie & chips and catch-up with a good friend over lunch. This was perfectly kept and served and, in my opinion, a brilliant expression of how good a proper English bitter can be. Flavoursome, appealing texture, low abv, great to look at and a pleasure to drink. Kavu (4890) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 21, 2017

Cask. Very light, both in color and flavor, but also very pleasant. It’s balanced and subtle, with a refreshing, crisp maltiness and a light bit of floral hoppiness at the end. hawthorne00 (3989) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 16, 2017
Tap (keg, but this ABV). Light amber with a small white head. Aroma of biscuit, peach, light spices.
Light bodied certainly, but not quite watery.
Fruit gets a little lost.
Firm spicy bitterness at end
Nice quaffable golden bitter. Very much the sort of beer you could have a pint of at lunchtime and still be useful in the afternoon.

Cask at Euston Flyer. Pours clear golden with small unsteady white head. Aroma is weak pine. Taste is high bitter, grassy, heavy bready malt. Lore (2775) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 30, 2017
clear golden colour, moderate sized dense white head; aroma of floral, zesty and grainy notes with some fresh cut grass; taste of malty sweerness with honey, slight citrusy notes annd minimal bitterness; watery like a typical English bitter beer_head (45) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2017
Cask, Mariners Great Yarmouth. Dark golden appearance with white foam head. Very little aroma, nothing really discernable. Tastes of slight caramel, citrus hint, apple, light honey and orange zest . Quite like the aftertaste, honey with orange zest although not too strong as to be expected for an ABV of 3.6 I guess. Not a bad beer. As an ex seafarer, I like the fact that the brewer makes a donation to the UK Seafarers charity. HenrikSoegaard (14235) - Randers, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2017
Cask. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. Boring.
