Note this is a genuine Gallo bought in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Pours a golden pale color with less than one finger head thatquickly dissipates and shows plenty of carbonation. Toasted hops and mild sweetness up front. Largely no hop flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium malty finish. For a macrobrew lager, this one is good compared to many of the other Central American lagers Ive had and even some of the macrobrews in the US.

Shared with Wombat23, who has a six pack of the stuff to unload. Pours straw colored, the white head immediately disappears. Grassy aroma, light honey notes. Taste is sweet, dry, faint metallic notes. Watery end. Not much going on.

As Famosa. Many Thanks for this beer to CH-303. Lepiej juz w upalny dzien napic sie wody mineralnej i smaczniej i zdrowiej. Thanks Asbjorn for a new Country.

Surprisingly good for a mass produced tasteless lager. Its clear and crisp, feels really good in massive Central Americas heat.
