Not as huge as billed but punchily herbally bitter and long and puckering in the mouth. More orangy than golden with good dabs of lacing and decent sap structures the whole juicy thing. Easily the best Irish DIPA I’ve ever had. triskaideka (369) - Killarney, IRELAND - MAR 20, 2017
Draught from the Salt House, Galway. Light amber with white head. Aroma is tropical fruit - mango, papaya, mandarin. Taste - mango, mandarin - really fruity and sweet and offset by hoppy bitterness. Hides the alcohol well. Benzai (16520) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 11, 2017
Tap @ The Brew Dock, Dublin, shared with Niilstrong. Hazy orange color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, resinous and piney but fruity as well and a solid bitter finish. Medium to full body and carbonation. Lovely Double IPA. jamestulloch (4261) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 10, 2017
Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, pineapple and orange peel. Flavour of salted melon rind, biscuit, resin and mango. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Robust and flavoursome. Really good. Evilkniamhel (1034) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 8, 2017

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a lasting fluffy off white head. Aroma is of tropical fruits, mango, passionfruit, pineapple, citrus, grassy. Taste is of more tropical fruits, citrus, orange, grassy, biscuit. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Gangstergafje (1225) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - JAN 21, 2017
The beer looks amazing. The color is a beautiful tropical redish orange. The beer pours a nice layer of soft, crispy white foam. The loos are very tropical. It’s clear, accept for a slight cloudy haze.
The smell is divine. I smell delicious hoppy fruity aromas of citrus fruits, especially grapefruit, pineapple, peach and passionfruit. It is the delicious fruitiness of Irish IPA’s, only very strong and very pure. I love it. Thee are so mann fruity tones in this beer.
The taste has the same lovely fresh and fruity tones, with are strong at first and fade away ver slowly with drinking, to create a long and full finish. It dies out in a grapefruit flavour. There is a delicious hoppy bitterness and even a tiny almondy alcohol flavour. Even though the high IBU, the beer isn’t extremely bitter because it’s well balanced by sweet fruit flavours. The balance is uncanny, so good. This is sure one of the best beers of my two trips to Dublin. flying_pig (1620) - SCOTLAND - OCT 10, 2016
500ml bottle from McCambridges of Galway, Galway (€7.15):Beerhunter111 (22214) - P´Castle, GERMANY - OCT 9, 2016
Excellent stuff, easily the best Irish beer I’ve tried & well ahead of the next closest, the same brewery’s Full sail IPA. This one opens with lots of tropical fruits, nice pine bitterness & some sweet malts that help balance things. Full of flavour from the start with good fruits early on & alcohol content well hidden. The beer was an easy one to drink & well worth the fairly high price I paid for the bottle; definitely worth hunting for if you find yourself in Ireland at any point.
50cl bottle from a trade with beersiveknown, many thanks Steve! Pours clear amber colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of bitter fruity hops, zest, grapefruits and resins. Taste of intense bitter hops, zest, mango, apricot, resinous bitter finish, good stuff! Maracuja05 (1354) - Mainz, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2016
