500ml bottle from McCambridges of Galway, Galway (7.15):
Excellent stuff, easily the best Irish beer Ive tried & well ahead of the next closest, the same brewerys Full sail IPA. This one opens with lots of tropical fruits, nice pine bitterness & some sweet malts that help balance things. Full of flavour from the start with good fruits early on & alcohol content well hidden. The beer was an easy one to drink & well worth the fairly high price I paid for the bottle; definitely worth hunting for if you find yourself in Ireland at any point.

Good IIPA, but no miracle.

My Bottom Line:
This buxom Double IPA has plenty of oranges and flowers to share, but also dead leaves and roughshod resins.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam laces atop the misty pale amber.
-Hop aroma and flavors were intense, but not very bright and engaging, lacking definition.
-Carbonation was intense, which works with the healthy body and hop profile.
-This doesnt taste like 8,5% at all, so drinkability is much higher than expected.
-Will have to try another glass some other time, but for now this seems popular because there isnt much competition in this style in Ireland.

On tap at The Brew Dock, Dublin.

Oranje ondoorzichtig bier met een goede witte schuim kraag. Ruikt fruitig, tropisch fruit, citrus. Smaakt bitter, zoet fruit, tropisch fruit.
