The beer looks like a beautiful porter. The color is pith black, with a dark almond foam head. The foam tends to collapse quickly, but a nice drape of foam remains on top of the beer.
The smell of the beer is nice, bt a little mild. I mell some delicious roasted barley, giving aromas of coffee, chocolate and salted caramel. There is a lovely combination between salty aromas, roasty bitterness and sweet chocolate.
The same applies for the taste. There is a delicious salted caramel flavour, which is quite unique for a ’regular porter’. I haven’t encountered it a lot. It.s in perfect balance with the darker roast flavours. It sure reminds me of a stormy port: a stormy dark bitterness together with a salty sea flavour. An excellent porter. Przyjemnie pachnie, jest kawa, jest czekolada, jest lekki karmel. W smaku jest lekko, to w końcu nieco ponad 5 procent alkoholu. Przyjemna kawa i czekolada w smaku bez nadmiernej karmelowej słodyczy. Dobra rzecz, kolejny "nudny" w Polsce styl, który u nas się szybko nie przyjmie.
