Beersiveknown (5295) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JUN 16, 2013
Keg at against the grain Dublin.
V similar to full sail. a little fuller in body and bitterness with pithy orange and gooseberry emerging on warming.

culchiem (4019) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 3, 2013
Draught. Cloudy orange amber with a medium head. Aroma is marmalade. Flavour is a strong dose of citrus hop, bitter orange on an oily base. Rough bitter finish.

northropfrye (3643) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 18, 2013
On tap at Brew Dock, Dublin. Amber body, off white head, nice lacing. Nice floral citrus aroma. Medium bitterness. Quite nice.

mzaar (3489) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2013
On tap @ The Black Sheep, Dublin. Rather weak aroma for being a IPA, but the tropical fruits and floral notes are noticeable. Tastes better, and more: Caramel, grape, resin and peach. High bitterness, lacks in sweetness.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 9, 2013
The head is robust, the body cloudy and golden. It smells malty, bitter, hoppy. The taste is hoppy, intensive, bitter, a bit hay-grassy-bitter, less fruity. Ok, I love bitterness but this IPA could have a bit more fruitiness in my opinion. Still good. 13/11/10/11/-/11

stravale (3078) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - DEC 5, 2013
Keg @ Salt House, Galway [021213]
Light amber ornage, slight haze, fizzy frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma - mellow tropical fruits, light sweet tropical fruity malt, some pithy grapefruit
Taste of tropical fruits, bitter grapefruit zest, soft sweet tropical fruit maltt background, very citrus zesty bitter
Palate - Medium carb and body, bitter zest palate with a soft sweet malt background. Finish delivers even more bitter zest, quite long very bitter, quite dry finish, bit over bitter
Overall - Decent ipa with plenty of punch, finish good even if a bit over bitter

garthicus (2933) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAR 28, 2013
Appearance: Cloudy orange, small white head. Aroma: sweet, hoppy, grassy, vanilla, malt, a little fruity. Flavour: bitter, lots of lemon & spice, quite the fresh cut grass flavour running through it, long lemon bitter finish. It’s just a bit muddled for me... Odd.

Deu (948) - Nantes, FRANCE - APR 22, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2013 On tap at the black sheep in Dublin. Fruity aroma and taste. A little bit bitter. I recommend if you like IPA . N

dreamflower (791) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 24, 2013
I really enjoyed the Galway Bay beers I tried. Lots of flavour, well balanced. This is a great IPA.

Beermack (725) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2013 Keg dispense at the Black Sheep launch night. Hazy orange pour with thin white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma - lime especially - with some grapefruit too. Taste follows on with plenty of really waxy, pithy lime and grapefruit. Some bready, yeasty flavour in there too, as well as a bit of a metallic bite. Bitterness is fairly heavy handed, mouthfeel medium but quite rough. Definitely in need of a bit of refinement, not an easy-drinker by any means. This is a step in the right direction for Irish brewers, so kudos to Chris and the team for actually throwing some hops in the brew kettle.
