COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting new style of beer that we call Irish Pale Ale. This delicious beer is pale in colour, has a full well balanced hop flavour and aroma, a good foamy head, a carbonation level similar to standard lagers. Now you can, of course, make it as complicated as you like by adding various chemicals and preservatives to the beer so that it ferments and matures faster, has a longer shelf life and is cheaper to produce. However, as a small independent craft brewery, we believe in using traditional techniques and think that only the four basic ingredients of beer should be used to produce this wonderful, thirst quenching, “magic potion”. All we want to do is produce a pure and natural beer for the Galway market. Nothing more.

Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2013
Bottle. Low but lasting fluffy white head. Clear amber body. Sweet apple pear honey aroma and a note of grass. Relatively sweet honey apple pear flavror with a nice bitterness, high carbonation and a long bittersweet finish.

Idiosynkrasie (7432) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 6, 2013
500ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grassy, bitter hoppy aroma, slightly grainy background. Taste is grainy, dry, grassy, notes of hay and spelt, hints of minerals and cement.

Creedence (309) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 5, 2013
500ml bottle at The Gateway. Pours a clear copper with a thin, lasting white bubbly head. Little lacking on aroma, but I got hints of citrus, grass, and a bizarre wet cardboard. Moderately sweet and lightly bittered, lacking the bite of most Pale Ales. Reasonably lively carbonation but still quite smooth. Medium body with a light bitter palate. Ok, but a bit malty and plain.

StoutHead (963) - DENMARK - MAR 4, 2013
Sample from bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Taste is of hops, roasted malt, caramel and fruity notes. Aftertaste is dry and hoppy. Okay beer.

Smakt rett fra kjøleskapet på Høkeren: frisk og god, en lettdrikkelig og (det lave vitamininnholdet til tross) smakfull formiddagsøl. Kanskje litt enkel, men god.

MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - FEB 3, 2013
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly biscuity cara-malty aroma with woody and slightly citrus-fruity hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly biscuity and buttery malt-character with notes of caramel, accompanied by drying fruity and slightly woody hops; quite dry and bitter hoppy finish with a balancing malty sweetness lingering into the aftertaste. Good. 03.II.13

fantti (1012) - FINLAND - JAN 13, 2013
Kaatuu lasiin keltaoranssina ja hieman sameana, vaahton on n. puolen sormen paksuinen ja katoava. Pitsiä kylläkin jää ihan kivasti. Haju on pääasiassa karamellisen hedelmäinen, taustalla kummittelee hieman ruohoisuutta, ehkä hieman humalaakin.

ciaranc (1102) - Dublin, IRELAND - DEC 20, 2012
Pours clear gold with a nice foamy white head. Toasted malt on the nose, not very strong. Quite bitter in the flavour which didn?t come through in the aroma. Malt character becomes apparent as it warms up. Thin bodied lively carbonation. Finish is more bitterness, a touch astringent.

2.7
Yorker (1979) - Herning, DENMARK - DEC 10, 2012
50 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear golden with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is citrus, grains, and grains. Flavour is caramel, grains, and citrus.
