COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting new style of beer that we call Irish Pale Ale. This delicious beer is pale in colour, has a full well balanced hop flavour and aroma, a good foamy head, a carbonation level similar to standard lagers. Now you can, of course, make it as complicated as you like by adding various chemicals and preservatives to the beer so that it ferments and matures faster, has a longer shelf life and is cheaper to produce. However, as a small independent craft brewery, we believe in using traditional techniques and think that only the four basic ingredients of beer should be used to produce this wonderful, thirst quenching, “magic potion”. All we want to do is produce a pure and natural beer for the Galway market. Nothing more.

Draft pour. The beer is a clear copper color. The beer is bready and crisp. Taste has moderate sweetness with the bready notws coming through the most. Medium body and medium carbonation.

On tap in Dublin. Comes a clear bright gold with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste is lemon, tropical, grass, and malt. Clean and refreshing.

Golden clear color, looks like a pilsner. The beer smells really fresh, citrusy hop aroma’s fill your nose. The taste is really bitter, maybe too bitter. It has nice hop and citrus aromas. Not the best brew.

Metalflake (73) - Les Coteaux, Quebec, CANADA - APR 1, 2015
500ml bottle, brought back on the plane from Ireland. Poured into a shaker, deep clear yellow colour with a frothy 1" white head. Malty aroma with faint citrus notes. Medium hoppiness, effervescent and evenly bitter on the tongue. Finish was clean, with a pleasantly hoppy aftertaste. Not the best APA out there by a long shot, but eminently drinkable. I’d get another.

Not as exciting as the label suggests but not bad. Not much head or bubbles but similar to a brooklyn ipa in an irish way. A good honnest beer

Keg at some bar, Dublin. It pours a clean golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma is malty and medium sweet, with light nuttiness and some notes of caramel and rip oranges. Taste is medium caramel, bready, biscuit, with light notes of grains and dried leaves. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, decent

Pale golden brown with a creamy head. Quite malty and low carbonation, but it's a well-balanced mixture.

Bottle at Nutty’s house, his night before 40th livener, thanks to Eoin 05/12/14. Clear golden amber with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, orange peel, toasted bread, straw. Taste comprises caramel, bready notes, citric peel, light hops, perfume, candyfloss. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation - a tad overcooked for my liking, finished with light bitterness. Ok, nothing I’d rush back to.
