COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting new style of beer that we call Irish Pale Ale. This delicious beer is pale in colour, has a full well balanced hop flavour and aroma, a good foamy head, a carbonation level similar to standard lagers. Now you can, of course, make it as complicated as you like by adding various chemicals and preservatives to the beer so that it ferments and matures faster, has a longer shelf life and is cheaper to produce. However, as a small independent craft brewery, we believe in using traditional techniques and think that only the four basic ingredients of beer should be used to produce this wonderful, thirst quenching, magic potion. All we want to do is produce a pure and natural beer for the Galway market. Nothing more.

Tap. Quite a pale gold pour, which surprised me for something advertised as an Irish pale ale. Mealy, malty mouthfeel. Hoppy, but not too powerful. Bit of grassiness. Perhaps a bit too carbonated? I dont know, not bad, but was pretty nonplussed about this one.

Stylish ale. Has a wonderful citrus smell, fruity and malty. Refreshing mouthfeel, definitely a session beer.

A wonderfully pure and natural beer that has an extremely hoppy body and a pale colour. The first taste is fresh and herbal smoothly wound into one, a well composed craft beer that is so good that one has difficulty saying what more one would want.

This was a draft pour at Oil Can Harrys in Dublin, Ireland. It came m the branded glass an amber color with a white head and very tenacious lacing on the glass. Nose of floral hops and rich malts. Medium plus in body. Ceamy mouthfeel. The flavor is rich and full of floral and pine hops, and the finish is nicely dry and bitter. Really easy drinking

A simple Pale Ale that has a hazy appearance and a smooth and lingering flavour.

Draught, smallish head, clear rusty orange colour, aroma of honey and butterscotch with some candy and fruity hints, sweetish fruity honey flavour, with a light herbal bitterness, seems a bit old. Not too good.

Draught. Golden colour, small head that lasts long and shows good lacing. Aroma is fresh, hoppy and fruity, a bit of butterscotch. Light bitterness, slight sweetness. Good.

Pint in Cassidys, Dublin:
Sweet & creamy, pale malt & hops with some earthy bitterness come through, citrus & caramel too. The hops werent as strong as Id have liked but it wasnt a weak beer at least.
Light amber, bright & clear with a 0.5cm foamy white head that leaves minor lacing on the sides.
Sweet with some hops but again theyre not the strongest, some grassy flavours & citrus backed them up a little. Nice pale malts and caramel come through with a light bitterness & background fruits at the end.
Smooth with hints of bitterness, medium carbonation & some sweetness. An easy one to drink & the finish was a dry one.

Not bad at all, I was hoping it would have been a more hop-filled affair with some nice American style hops coming through but sadly it wasnt to be but it was still a nice one with the caramel keeping things interesting. Its not a stand out offering though.

4.3%, 500 ml bottle. Pours orangey yellow with limited white head, although it is clear which is odd for a pale ale. Balanced with citrus fruit tones and mild citrus aroma. Malt and hops are dominant flavours. A tasty Irish pale ale, will definitely have it again
