COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting new style of beer that we call Irish Pale Ale. This delicious beer is pale in colour, has a full well balanced hop flavour and aroma, a good foamy head, a carbonation level similar to standard lagers. Now you can, of course, make it as complicated as you like by adding various chemicals and preservatives to the beer so that it ferments and matures faster, has a longer shelf life and is cheaper to produce. However, as a small independent craft brewery, we believe in using traditional techniques and think that only the four basic ingredients of beer should be used to produce this wonderful, thirst quenching, magic potion. All we want to do is produce a pure and natural beer for the Galway market. Nothing more.

Ins Glas ergiet sich ein orangegelbes Bier mit schner groen Schaumkrone. Geruch dezent hopfig, fruchtig. Geschmack sehr bitter fruchtig, trocken, malzig.

Bottle at Nuttys house, his night before 40th livener, thanks to Eoin 05/12/14. Clear golden amber with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, orange peel, toasted bread, straw. Taste comprises caramel, bready notes, citric peel, light hops, perfume, candyfloss. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation - a tad overcooked for my liking, finished with light bitterness. Ok, nothing Id rush back to.

On tap at Porterhouse Covent Garden. Clear gold thick white head. Its an earthy pale ale. Ok malts some hop on finish. Served cold on tap. Bit bland but utterly drinkable. Ok beer. Reminds me a bit of SNPA.. Does what it says on the tin.

[email protected] 2009. Clear amber color, small white head. Sweaty peachy hoppy aroma. Light to medium bodied. Fruity (some peach), late bitterness. Aftertaste is watery, although nice fruityness there. Probably quite pleasant session beer.

Golden/dull bronze colour. Seems fairly richly hopped, with English hops so really as fun. Has a mostly earthy character in abundance but not much else. Decently made but boring concept.

Bottle. Its a clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has the typical English maltyness, bready and lightly crackery, with some light citrusy and grassy hops. Some toffee hints in the flavor, with bready, crackery hints and some bitterness. Medium to thin on the palate, soft carbonation. Some bitterness in the finish. A boring one indeed, too much on the toffee and bread side for me, but at least it drinks easily. 130510

500ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Pleasant sweet red berry hoppy aroma. Some Doppio Malto butteriness too. Slightly sticky palate, OK carbonation. Tastes and feels very dead, but it does have a nice full grainy roast. Some caramel, some huskiness. Resiny hop finish, dry and drying. But theyre not full hops, its very extracty. Sub-par for an ale. Commercial description is bullshit - adding preservatives so that it ferments quicker!?!?!?

Bottle, 4.3%. Slightly buttery and spicy aroma. Hazy greyish golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is OK citric hoppy and a little spicy. But there is still a bit of unclean butter or something. OK drinkable, but not that good.
