COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Built in 1864, the Brockerhoff Hotel has long been a major landmark in Bellefonte. The Brockerhoff Fest Beer pours with a red hue and conveys strong flavors of malt and caramel with a touch of alcohol.

The beer appears decent with a nice reddish hue to it, a mild white head, and minimal lacing on the glass. The beer smells decently with strong malty smell that gives away to a nice caramel scent on the back end, some toffee maybe too. The taste was decent with a nice blend of malts and caramel that fades away slowly but blended well. The mouthfeel is average as the beer was carbonated okay and leaves you somewhat dry. Overall, not bad for their first attempt at a marzen and has some potential.

Draft at Mad Mex state college. Pours brown with a thin khaki head that leaves no lacing. Slight caramel note on the tongue. A bit of maltiness on the tongue. Decent for style.
