COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I mimo hospodu naše desítka spolehlivě osvěží. V každé várce vyvažujeme ten správný poměr vlastního českého sladu a chmelové odrůdy Sládek, aby chutnala stejně od prvního do posledního doušku a vybízela k dalšímu napití.
Gambrinus nepasterizovaná 10° has replaced Gambrinus originál 10° in pubs, so it is the draft and unpasteriuzed version of Gambrinus originál 10°, which is only in bottles and cans. It should be noted in both beer deScriptions.

CAN 50CL as Origial 10 at 4,3% abv. Look: clear golden with a big white head. Aroma: strong lightly kilned malt aroma with a hoppy background. Taste: grainy, lightly kilned malt, mostly sweet, light hoppy bitter finish, CO2.

Bottle. Not as bad as it's cracked up to be. The hop notes are discernible, while the malt base seems to be more grainy than bready. Add some light butter and a light to moderate bitterness and you get a mediocre yet drinkable, generic Czech pils.

From bottle in Czech Republic. Light Svetly, average compared to the high quality brews available.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2017 This doesn't really compare to other Czech lagers such as Urquell, Staropramen or even the Kozel varieties, but it is still incredibly pleasant on draught, especially for the price, which is usually around 30 CZK. I don't know of any other lager that tastes like Gambrinus. Not really the same in a bottle, either.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2017 Not a perfect beer, but from a good tap it is really drinkable. Average bitterness

Aroma of light diacetyl and malts. Taste is rather dry, low bitterness. It’s not a good example of Czech pilsner, but it’s better than most of the international lagers.

Klacicka desitka od gambača. Ani neviem co k tomu napisat, ked som dnes vypil 8 specialom. Tazko hodnotit.

Aroma - wood, leather and citrus hops. Appearance - amber color, clear with fluffy moderate foam and medium carbonation. Taste - Some bitterness and later malt sweetness in aftertaste. Palate - medium body, oily, mouth-coating texture, medium carbonation and moderate sweet finish. Overall - has a nice aroma and taste but a bad mouth-coating feeling and heaviness, hard to drink.

Bottle on the train from Praha to Bavaria, 14/07/17. Clear golden with a decent off white head. Nose is pale malts, grains, faint citric zest, straw. Taste comprises bready notes, corn, grains, faint lemon. Medium bodied, fine to prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Pretty pedestrian affair.
