Small light grey head. Opaque light amber color. Sweet malty aroma. Caramell taste and some residual sweetness and a low bitterness. Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2013
5l mini-cask, bought at the brewery. Cloudy golden colour, creamy white head. Malty with a grainy touch and a shy yeasty fruity touch. Pleasantly hopped, slightly grassy with hints of hay. Very nice beer from a reliable brewery. TAR (2781) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - MAR 7, 2013
Bottle at Gastatte in Weiden, November, 2012 Golden orange. Fine-bubbled ivory foam. Fruity nose comprised of sultanas, mineral, dusty malt, toasted bread, and overripe banana. Mild sulfur and dough. Soft, fairly creamy carbonation. Initially fruity with a soft hop character yet also limp and astringent with a prominent spent-tea-leaf bitterness. Red apple peel dullness mars the center. Soft fruitiness melds nicely as it exhibits persistent grip and some softer biscuit qualities. Dryly malty finish reveals some nutty girth along with a quenching peach twang and late floral hop push. While a bit straightforward, and despite some subtle flaws here and there, it’s relatively drinkable. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2013
It’s hazy, dark golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and straw. The flavor is light to moderately sweet with notes of malt, fruit, hints of candy sugar, flower and the finish is dry. Lovely. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 20, 2012

medium amber colored body. munich malt toffee focused nose, medium body, mostly sweet (saccharine). clean though simple and sweet, chewy and mildly toasty. the dull grasses say it’s very simply hopped. has some candle wax oiliness on the palate, and the yeast is mostly cleaned out.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 01/2013
Aroma is somewhat light and sweet with grainy malt and hay. Flavour is somewhat sticky with grainy malt, hay, hints of mint and honey. Palate is low on CO2. Quite typical kellerbier.
