Süßliche Getreidenoten mit herbem Einschlag. Hellmalzig, mild gewürzig-süffig. Die Gewürze werden dann etwas modrig, die Süße bleibt vorne. 9/8/9/8/7/8

MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUL 18, 2016
(bottle, as Oster-Festbier) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Strawy malty aroma with grainy notes and a tinge of metal. Moderately sweet and restrained bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly honey-ish malty base with grainy notes and biscuits; sweet and shy hop bitter finish. Probably re-badged as Märzen, Schützenfestbier and Weihnachtsbier. 18.VII.16

Bouteille: Golden, clear, small white foamy layer; presumably unmalted barley, honey and pale malt in the nose, maybe some mild hops in the background; mild to moderate - mainly - sweet flavour, low bitterness; medium bodied; lingering sweetish-fruity finish with slightly increasing bitterness towards the very end. Not bad, but too uniforme…

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts strong and spicy, a bit wheaty. More and more moldy-spicy, a bit sourish. Finish a bit unbalanced. But still okay.
