laiti (8468) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 8, 2015
33 cl bottle @ home
Aroma has licorice, smoke, leather shoes and some fruitiness. Somewhat smooth palate. Flavour has licorice, smoke, some sharp alcohol, hops and some minerals. The alcohol is a bit too strong here. Definitely not bad still.

Black with a medium, quickly diminishing, beige head. Aroma of yeast, roast malt, fruit. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish. Full body, thick oily texture, low carbonation. Nice beer.

DutchMark (395) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2015
Nice deep brown with almost no head and (too) little carbonation. light body. Flavor is not coming upfront but strongly present when you swallow. Quite hoppy and bitter. Flavor is earthy with mostly hops and dark roast coffee. Good brew but I have mixed feelings about it.

Nische (2227) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 21, 2015
Bottle from Kaapse. Pours clear dark with a tanned head. Aroma is sweetish with malt, liquorice, wood and roasted malt. Very rich flavor with similar notes. This one has aged beautifully.

Kita (2146) - Koper, SLOVENIA - SEP 3, 2015
Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy almost black color with thin creamy light brown head and poor lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, leather, plastic, nuts, mushrooms and some earthy notes. Taste starts with sweet caramel and roasted malt, follows by chocolate, licorice and grassy sourness, mouthfeel is warming alcoholic and mild spicy, while finish is bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Complex aromas and bold taste...

At Belgrade Eighth Tasting, round one. Bottle. Ciao Alberto. Dark cola, no head, touch sweet aroma. Body is confounding, rich deep, burnt caramel, deep licorice, dark bitter chocolate. Light sip and finishes very dark and deep. Interesting, but not my jam.

At the 8th tasting (round 1), held at Vlada’s Beerville pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Bottle courtesy of the Belgian crew, thank you boys. The day after we had 2 more bottles courtesy of the brewer himself, danke Andreas. Pours dark brown color, minimal phenomena of a foam but practically none. Nose: super fresh and very velvety molasses, chocolate, caramel. Super clean and fresh aroma. Nose: sexy! Loads of dry fruit, red fruit, fresh feel of pastry ending with a dry cleaning bitter herbal note. Silky and just fantastic. BRAVO!
