Vast creamy head on top of an amber orange colored beer.
Smell sauerkraut, hops, citrus... Maybe not the nicest smell, but the nicest part is yet to come.
The taste is a very nice mix of malts, barley malts, cream, hops, bitter, hop fruits like citrus... Damn I wasn’t writing too much anymore, just enjoying this quality brew!
A lovely hop bitter and creamy barley malty aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft oily mouthfeel, full body and a oily texture.
Tick, oily, tasty, complex and lovely! gunnar (9094) - Sandnes, NORWAY - OCT 5, 2012

Hazy amber, beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some red fruit and a funky hint. Taste vanilla, lemon, hop and grass.
On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, yellow-beige head. Tangy berry nose, some honey notes. Medium to big sweet flavor, spices, apple, light wood, caramel. Medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation. Light warmth to finish, modest dryness, some bitter wood. Interesting one. Doesn’t work all the way through, but good at points. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Keg @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s deep amber with a small head. The nose is cedar, some toffee and caramel. Berries and some fig. The taste is big toffee maltiness, vinous berry. A bit of smooth coffee and soft dark malts. Medium body, well-rounded flavor. Overall, very drinkable. This doesn’t taste like a 10.4% behemoth at all. Impressive stuff. faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - OCT 1, 2012
Chopp @ Fermentoren. Hazy dark brown colour, small beige head. Sweet quite toasty malty caramel aroma with bit fruit to it. Good mouthfeel. Sweet well toasted malty and caramel flavour with some (dark) fruit and bit alcohol. Sweet malty finish. Quite pleasant. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Amber pour with an off-white head. Really bad vinegar smell to this. Kind of harsh and solventy, too. Some bread and toffee sweetness with a bit of toast. The flavor is just as bad. Tons of vinegar, mild malt sweetness, and metal. A touch of fruity esters, maybe some toasted malt. bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2012
Tap @ Borefts 2012. Maltaroma and flavor. Dried fruit and cherry and pineapple sweets. Sweet but the grassy hops, especially in the finish, do compensate this. Good effort!
