Tap @ the brewery. Thanks Andreas! Ruby body with a thick white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, ripe fruits. Taste is cherry, bread. Body is full, carbonation almost flat. Body is oily, very oily. The best doppelbock I had so far. I never thought I’d have found something better than Celebrator or Korbinian...

Draft @ Borefts 2012. Crazy dark red ruby amber with a HUGE, lightly tanned head. Light lager yeast, dark thick sugar, syrup, lighter hops, pine resin, thick malt. Taste is thick sweet syrup, prune jam. creamy dark sugar, thick caramel, dark fruits, pine resin in the back, wow dude. Very creamy body. Wow dude, this is some serious stuff, this is a doppelbock? It is like they made a barley wine out of a doppelbock.

Cask, tasting @ De Molen Warehouse. The aroma has caramel, light roast, some fruits, grassy hops. Bit hazy, orange-brown-red coloured beer with an off-white, thick head. The taste is light-moderate sweet (not too sweet), good bitterness and has caramel, nice grassy hops. Well bodied. Fantastic beer.

Tap @ Gasthuas Drei Kronen, Slisslitz. Courtesy of Andreas, Thanks ! Pours hazy deep amber with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma is rich malty, plums, raisins, vinius. Flavor is again rich malty, maderia, woodnotes, dark fruity, plums, figs and raisins. Full body, soft carbonation, alcohol well hidden Super smooth and stupid easy drinking for the ABV. 080812

Draught @BBF’12: Vast creamy head on top of an amber orange colored beer. Smell sauerkraut, hops, citrus... Maybe not the nicest smell, but the nicest part is yet to come. The taste is a very nice mix of malts, barley malts, cream, hops, bitter, hop fruits like citrus... Damn I wasn’t writing too much anymore, just enjoying this quality brew! A lovely hop bitter and creamy barley malty aftertaste. Low carbo, soft oily mouthfeel, full body and a oily texture. Tick, oily, tasty, complex and lovely!

[email protected] What a impressive beer this is! And it’s a lager? Unbelievable. So many different flavours, very well hopped, great balance and looking beautiful. It reminds me of a dark American Strong Ale like Double Bastard Ale, not at all of a lager. Or even more confusing: a German lager.

Minimal rauchig. Sehr gut! 12/12/12/12//12
