kraddel (9441) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 24, 2018
Pours unclear, darker blonde. Barely any foam. Looks very undercarbonated. Smell is not overly intense, but 100% consistant of smoked meat. Taste is full-on smoked, very fleshy indeed. Too smokey for me. I am convinced Smoke is growing on me -I don't start to feel sick when I drink it- but it's still far from my favorite taste. I can tell though, that this is a balanced brew, for those who love smokeds. Medium body and low carbo.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Mørk ferskenfarget. Uklar. Høyt tett skum som daler veldig sakte. Grei røykaroma. Smaken lettrøkt svinekam. Balansert. God tørr ettersmak.

maekchu (4184) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 30, 2018
Bottle from Sugaya. Floral and smoky aroma, lightly piscine, with some seaweed. Hazy light orange-amber color, nearly flat. Fairly smoky from the outset, with caramel, toffee, a slightly phenolic note,. Ripe stone fruit throughout, but clear and present hopping from mid palate through to the finish. Medium body. Fairly full-flavored stuff. Smoke is moderate and balances with other elements.

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 04.11.17 Properly hazy, almost orange-straw body, creamy head holds. Good whiff of smoke on the nose - bacony, camp fire, orange rind sort of hop character there, sort of a rich pale caramel malt note in the works. Thick palate, chewy, full, touch of warmth, lowish carbonation. BOOM stacks of smoke on the body - meaty, salami/small goods, charcoal, orange & mango hop character is strangely complimentary, low sort of bitterness, sort of spicy on the finish, pepper, smoke lingers for a long time! Woah, yeah, full on! Really different, kind of works, kind of doesn't, never dull!
