Cloudy orange color, no head, pours look whiskey. Light smoke in aroma, meat, but there is not much of an IPA. Not strong but pleasant. Lots of meat and smoked ham in taste, bacon too, wonderful. Watery, soft to flat carbonation. //bottle at Craft Room

Smell of smoke. Cloudy greyish amber colour, white head. Aroma of smoke, hops, grass, some vanilla. Also some eucalyptus, which must be a mix of something. Mildly sweet. Lively carbon. Interesting, but doesn't fully work.

For my 1100th beer, I will make the honour with a brewery that I was expecting since a long time, honour of Bavaria, beautiful region that you could not be indifferent. I am not a fan of smocked beer but this one is really tasteful. I had a really good impression with the aroma of smocked bacon, wood, beech. An impression that your chimney is coming to your nose. The body is beautiful and orange/yellow and troubled, white and slightly orange foam, common carbonation. The taste is smocked, fresh and smocked bacon, beech, wood, smocked malt, hop. The first sip had strong aroma of these flavors and after the taste becomes more mineral and dry. It was a really good experience at the Pibar, Lausanne.

Smoked ham, citrus, tropical fruits, cereal in nose. Pours cloudy golden with white head. Taste is medium sweet with smoky notes, tropical fruits, malts and citrus. Medium bitter finish, average carbo, oily mouthfeel. No trace of alcohol. Overall nice.

Bottle. Cloudy, gold in Color with a small quickly disappearing head. Aroma is smoky grains. Taste is actually really nice. Smoked flavour up front, smoked and well balance in the middle with hints of smoke and grapefruit in the finish.

Erzengel (9080) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2017
*Bottle from Rudat. Smoky round malty beginning. Hints of sweetish grain, not much hops, the smoke and the grainy sweetness is in the foreground. Nevertheless it is round and full, malty smoky grainy in the end.
