I bought this bottle at the Edeka in Freiburg am Brisgau, I drank yesterday at Bonfol, before to go to one Basket game. In my opinion, it is exactly what you could expect of a hefe weissbier. This one, I think, is better than the erdinger. The color is yellow, creamy and troubled, regular carbonation, white foam. The taste is well balanced, sweet with the wheat, delicious banana note, few hop, a bit watery. While you drink it during the spring day, you feel just peaceful with a typical ham and cheese from Schwarzwald, you dream and you beginn to read Marcuse, good job from a classical brewery.

Cloudy golden color, big white head. Aroma of grain, wheat and banana. Bit sweet taste for a hefeweizen. Decent stuff.

From tap in a restaurant @ Glottertal, Germany. The beer is hazy golden colored and has a nice white head with enough carbonation. The aroma is malts, yeast, wheat and very fruity with tones of bananas and in the background some spices. Taste is light to medium bodied, a little sweet and fruity (bananas and citrus) and also has a light bitterness from the yeast. The finish is light bitter with spices and is a little watery.

OK. 9/9/8/8/8/8

Bottle from bartlebier, many thanks!

Bottle from trade with bartlebier - thank you! The beer has got a cloudy golden-yellow colour with an big steady head and medium body. Aroma of yeast and bananas, followed by a taste of intense yeats, bread, fruit salad, bananas, wheat and dough. Sweet and yeasty finish. Drinkable, yet just not my kind of beer.

15/IX/14 - 50cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: 15/I/15 (2014-1005) Thanks to Bartlebier for the trade!

Cloudy pale beige beer, big creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: ripe banana, very yeasty, bit bready, spicy, sweet touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of banana, bit sweet, cloves, yeasty, slightly sour, soft hop bitterness. Aftertaste: bready, banana, bit sweet, spices, some cloves. Very nice hefeweizen, either that or the previous beer was so bad that it made this one taste really good. :p
