A bit too much malt body to call this a Summer Ale - malt dominant - ends with reasonable amount of noble hops - wish it had been lighter bodied and hop dominant like Stone and Wood Pacific ale (still my gold standard for a summer golden ale). Pleasant enough though, just not thirst quenching for an Australian summer!

650ml Bottle. Pours an interesting gold and orange hue which is slightly hazy. Very lager like aroma with no notes of honey. The flavour is a huge burst of honey sweetness which lingers nicely. It’s hard to pick anything else distinct up because the honey is very strong. Interesting and enjoyable but maybe slightly too much honey?

Spices dominate the aroma... pepper, 5spices? Spicy taste, bit worty, honey...weirdish, not that good

Bottle from Beer Cartel (February 2014). Dark golden, off white head, honey and peppery spice dominate aroma and flavour, pineapple, toffee apple, grassy hops, medium body, cloying texture, honey-sweet finish. Ok.

A typical Garage Project beer. In that it manages to be deliciously dangerous. Restrained aroma but full on subtly complex body gives little warning of the strength backing it it.

Not bad, pretty good, but the flavours weren’t allowed to develop on my taste buds, I suspect that the honey sucked them up and washed them down my gullet before I’d had a chance to enjoy them.

A lot to like with this golden ale, pours golden brown, sweetness of the honey and fruits combined with spices and grassy flavours eorks well, relatively smooth. not usually a fan of G.A's but this works

Quite viscous on the palate that you are licking your lips to get all the goodness. Pleasant to drink and the honeyed sweetness helps the medicine go down.

This has such a fantastic colour, and is a whole lot more fuller in mouthfeel than you might expected, probably the honey giving it more body. There is also a rawness and hop bite in this that is interesting. Not an unpleasant beer, but it;s not one that hits my taste point with accuracy.
